11 YEAR OLD HITS THE COURTS – If you love sports even just a little bit, then Julian Newman has to make you smile. Basketball greats are not born every day and he has serious skills that put some NBA players to shame. Pretty impressive when you stop to remember that his teammates and opponents are 6-7 years older than him and stand almost 2 feet taller.

Wearing a jersey that is rolled up and shortened by hair ties Julian has been playing basketball since he was three years old. So much of an obsession, his mother was once asked to leave a store because he kept taking balls and dribbling them up and down the aisles. Family vacations are also required to have a court available or at the least a park nearby.
Seemingly unfazed by all the media attention, Julian is funny and refreshingly entertaining in his interviews and he has become a Youtube sensation. When asked recently who his favorite basketball players were he replied Chris Cole and Kobe Bryant.
LeBron? Not so much.
