AMERICA’S GOT TALENT: THE FINALS – With the last few weeks being held at New York’s Radio City Music Hall, the level of talent and competition has been fierce on America’s Got Talent. This evening the final six acts were named and they will be competing next week; each hoping to be the winner of one million dollars and the opportunity to headline as a Las Vegas act.
Tonight’s winners were emotional and visibly relieved as their names were called and each one gave thanks to family, friends and the viewing audience for supporting and believing in them.
If you are a fan of the show, you already know who the six finalists are and you may have already decided who you would like to see as next week’s winner. For those of you who do not watch the show or maybe missed it this week, watch the following videos to acquaint yourself with each contestant and their talent.
Cami Bradley-a talented singer and piano player, Cami is both beautiful and graceful. The judges praise her singing voice and her ability to take a familiar song and re-create it with her personality and special touch. (see video above)
Jimmy Rose- “down home country boy” describes Jimmy Rose; even his name creates a mental picture of someone with hometown pride and deep roots in tradition and family values. He never disappoints in his song choice, and his guitar playing is a beautiful complement to his voice.
Forte– this 3-man singing group has provided harmony and passion in every performance. Choosing well known and popular songs allows the audience to connect with them on an emotional level.
Collins Key- a 17 year old magician who has made illusions fun and entertaining again. His performances have wowed the audience and left them scratching their heads wondering, “how did he do that?”
Taylor Williamson- a young and fascinating comedian with new and quirky material that most everyone can relate to; he can be slightly edgy at times, but never raunchy. His comedy is clean, original and even funny the second time.
Kinichi Ebina- considered a techno robotic dancer, Kinichi has brought forward a new dynamic and energy to the stage. Each performance utilizes technology in a unique way that highlights his talent without detracting from the performance.
If you enjoyed one or more of these talented performers, videos of their previous performances can be found on youtube. This list of finalists holds several of my favorite performers from the start of the season, and a few that I didn’t think would make it this far. Congratulations to each of them and Good Luck in next week’s competition.
Who do you think will win next week’s America’s Got Talent? Leave your prediction and why you think so below. For me, a clear winner is hard to pick. Currently two acts seem likely to win, but I will hold my prediction until after next week’s performances.
