ARCHBISHOP CALLS FOR PRAYERS FOR KENYAN TERRORISTS – Delusional, out of touch, incompetent and vile; these are just some of the words being leveled at Justin Welby, the Archbishop of Canterbury after asking people to pray for the Kenyan terrorists.
The Archbishop has called upon all Christians around the world to pray for the souls of the Kenyan terrorists who were killed during the Westgate Shopping Mall massacre.
According to the Archbishop he is merely working within the guidelines of Jesus’s teachings – that’s the bit about turning the other cheek or thou shalt not kill is probably what he had in mind.
Whilst Kenyan authorities now fear that up to ten British citizens were murdered in the terrorist attack, the Archbishop appears devoid of any sympathy for those innocent people but rather feels that we should concentrate our efforts on forgiveness and therefore pray for the terrorists.
I suspect many people will be praying – that is praying they all meet a very unfortunate, uncomfortable and untimely end.
‘As Christians, one of the things is that we pray for justice and particularly the issues around the anger that comes when this kind of thing happens, but we are also called as Jesus did on the Cross to pray for those who are doing us harm.’ Archbishop Justin Welby
I honestly can’t tell the difference between a Muslim Islamic extremist or an equally extremist Christian – in fact if you look at history closely enough you might understand why Islamic extremists hate us with such ferocity; after all it was the Christians who slaughtered millions of Muslims during the Crusades.
Here really lies the problem… religion. It is amazing what you can get away with if you simply quote religious purposes. Let’s be frank if any school in the UK were found responsible for the grooming of children for sexual activities do you honestly think that the school teachers would rally around to protect the paedophiles?
Of course not but that’s exactly what the church has been doing since its creation.
Religion is primarily a tool to be used on the weak and insecure – it’s a way to provide hope; often when there is none and above all it is used as a way to extract vast sums of money from mostly the poor and ignorant.
What, you don’t believe me? Take a trip to the Philippines and here you will witness first hand of the devastation of Catholicism in the modern age.
There are churches everywhere; almost all citizens are Catholic and most are poor beyond comprehension.
Add to the poverty an uncontrollable birth rate; due to every sperm being sacred and you have a population of poorly uneducated people that are still brainwashed into giving money over to the Catholic Church.
Religion – it ought to be outlawed or at least restricted to the confines of the home. Never in the history of man has anything had such a devastating effect on mankind as the word of God; regardless to who that God may be.
Look carefully through history and almost all wars were perpetrated under the delusional concept of a higher being; look how many serial murderers are imprisoned due to their belief that God commanded them to cleanse the earth of the fallen.
Yes, it’s delusional to think God would command such a thing and yet we are so readily willing, en-mass, to accept a higher power.
I find the Holy Bible and the Koran highly offensive; for here you have two books that purportedly command love, peace, understanding and above all the sanctity of human life and yet those who wrote the books and those who wield their power from the books are happy to support acts of violence against their fellow man.
Justin Welby should not be allowed anywhere near the political arena let alone humanity itself for here is a man in charge of an organisation where its financial investment portfolio consists of arms trading, pornography and banking.
Isn’t it about time humanity woke up to the fact that those sitting at the top of ‘God’ pile are nothing more than the deceivers and ultimately the peddlers of war?
