ARE WE RESPONSIBLE FOR FUELING ISLAMIC TERRORISM IN THE UK? – According to MailOnline journalist Melanie Phillips we have been responsible for the growing terrorist attacks in the UK by pandering to the Muslim community. Does Melanie have a point?

Melanie’s article was certainly an interesting one where she suggests that Britain has had its head firmly suck in the sand and that both 9/11 and 7/7 brought about Government’s, on both sides of the Atlantic, vowing to take measure to prevent any such atrocities from happening again.
Unfortunately the very nature of terrorism is that it’s extremely difficult to prevent. Who would of imagined aircraft being hi-jacked and flown into the Twin Towers, who could have conceived that someone would be audacious enough to murder a British soldier in broad daylight in London with people looking on?
Lee Rigby’s murder and the recent Boston Marathon Bombings is testament that we are failing to tackle the problem head on and most of this is due to our fear of being labeled bigots and racists.
The UK and the U.S.A have pandered to Muslim communities in an attempted to create a cohesive understanding. We have allowed Muslims to build Mosques, provided them with community funding and allowed even the most hateful to stand on our street corners and call upon Islamic followers to take up arms and murder the innocent.
Yet despite all we have given and all we have done to try and find an equilibrium nothing appears to have subdued or appeased the Islamic fundamentalists from continuing their acts of terrorism against the innocent.
The last Labour Government insisted that if we are to have community cohesion then we must open our doors to the world and become a shining example of how different cultures could live together in a Utopia of understanding and respect. We now know that this is not the case and in fact Britain is becoming more and more segregated and communities are increasingly distrustful of one another.
I would strongly suspect that as of now most British nationals, walking down any high street in the UK, would view a Muslim as nothing more than a terrorist and despite their anger their restraint has been remarkable. Yes we did have an incident with the English Defence League but that was an isolated incident and short lived.
Hundreds of English Defence League Supporters Hit Woolwich Streets in Aftermath of Woolwich Islamic Terrorist Muder
One thing is for sure; despite the atrocity that occurred in Woolwich last Wednesday the British people are not prepared to simply go on the rampage and this is testament at how civilized a society we have become; restraint in the face of adversity is a highly admirable trait and one that the British are noted well for.
We were, as Melanie pointed out, hoping that Cameron, when he came to power, would sort out many of the problems that we face in the UK. He vowed to close the door to unwanted migrants, he vowed to stop the tide of power flowing to Europe and he vowed to tackle terrorism head on. What he has done is to look the other way and when things get really tough flee to a tropical destination for a holiday; as he is doing right now.
Cameron Again Shows NO Respect for the British Public as He Goes on Holiday in the Wake Terrorist Attack in Woolwich
Cameron always wanted to model himself on Margaret Thatcher but I’m afraid he falls woefully short of the Iron Lady’s resolve, intelligence or moral standing, Thatcher would never have backed down and molly coddled terrorists.
Apart from being on holiday, what has Cameron done to tackle this latest barbaric act of terrorism? For starters he held a COBRA meeting which is formed in the event of a terrorist attack on British soil. After that he announced a new task force will be formed in order to tackle terrorism. Unfortunately considering his track record I strongly suspect this, like all this past promises, will quickly fade into the night and become nothing but a whisper on the floating breeze.
Would you dance with the devil by the pale moonlight? It appears that Cameron will do anything to appease the Muslim community and already we have witnessed a flurry of Muslim Clerics, along with the Archbishop, hitting the TV and condemning this latest atrocity and the hate preachers.
Of course the Government is not about to call these Muslim community leaders liars nor accuse them of harbouring Islamic terrorists but many, including myself, refuse to believe that these so-called ‘peaceful’ Muslim don’t know who the Islamic extremists are.
We are not allowed, according our current social brainwashing, to point the finger as this would be deemed as an act of racism but the truth is that this has nothing to do with race but rather the stark fact that this is about extremist religious beliefs were some believe that the Koran sanctions the murder of anyone who does not follow the will of Allah.
This is WAR and once we recognize it for what it truly is then we will continue to flounder and make excuses as to why we cannot tackle this problem head on and start taking decisive action by physically allowing troops and special security forces on streets to actively hunt down and take out the enemy within.
I for one certainly agree with many points that Melanie made in her report and the most important issue we face right now is the fact that we, and our Government, refuse to face the fact that we are at war and in order to stem the tide of any war you must treat terrorists as enemy combatants with lethal force.
