BORIS JOHNSON IMPLORES DAVID CAMERON TO SLASH BENEFITS FOR EU MIGRANTS – Boris Johnson, the very colourful Lord Mayor of London, has implored David Cameron to take drastic measures to slash benefits for EU migrants over the concerns of what it is costing the taxpayer to support the ever increasing numbers of economic refugees; most notably from Romania and Bulgaria.
According to Boris Johnson there are now over 600,000 EU migrants living off the backs of the hard working taxpayer; a figure that is set to rise with the introduction of the 2014 Right of Free Movement in January.
A recent report by the European Commission revealed that EU immigrants seeking work in the UK has risen by 73% since 2011; most of which flock to the UK without securing work and currently our laws are almost powerless to stop them.
Boris Johnson is demanding that Mr. Cameron takes action before it is too late. The demands follow overwhelming public opinion that EU laws must be changed in order to make it more difficult for EU migrants to come to Britain.
In a recent public poll, some 67% of the British public felt that Britain was soft, an easy target for economic refugees and they support any change in the law that would drastically cut the number of immigrants entering Britain and then simply claiming benefits.
One suggestion is that immigrants should be required to work for a number of years before being entitled to any state hand-outs. Other suggestions include holding an EU referendum whereby Britain opts-out of Europe allowing Britain to close its borders to EU migrants.
Mr. Cameron is currently in a battle with backbenchers after Adam Afriyie called upon other MPs to support a forced vote on November 8 in order to allow for an EU referendum in October 2014. Currently support for the vote and an EU referendum has been met with overwhelming support by MPs and the public; leaving Mr. Cameron fuming at the mutiny.
Boris Johnson is now suggesting that Mr. Cameron must force the EU to accept Britain’s renegotiations with Britain’s relationship with the EU or it will have to face the almost inevitable consequence of an EU referendum whereby the public demand a complete opt-out.
There are a number of MPs, including Tory MP Douglas Carswell, who feel a clampdown must be pursued in order to stop EU migrants attempting to escape the Eurozone economic crisis.
The simple and startling truth is that Britain cannot afford to continue feeding, housing and supplying money to the world’s poor. This may appear like an uncaring or completely inhumane statement but the truth is that Britain is broke – see:
Britain on the Verge of Bankruptcy – this article will finally give you a true reflection of just how troubling Britain’s financial situation is.
Currently our national debt is approximately 508% over its national income; Greece was only at 237% when it finally collapsed and unless the British Government and the public finally accept that ‘welfare’ will cause Britain to financially implode then the outcome of financial collapse, to which we may never recover, is inevitable.
With the European Commission study, which was published today, reporting that in 2012 there were 611,779 economic refugees in Britain; that is those without work and living on welfare, it has never been more important to realise that our membership in the EU is about to bankrupt Britain.
Again, according to the study, the number of economic refugees in Britain has risen by 431,687 in just the last six years alone.
The issues we face now is the realisation that the Right of Free Movement will almost, unequivocally, bankrupt Britain.
Despite continuous calls upon the Government to release statistical information as to how many people are expected to flood Britain after the Right of Free Movement comes into effect the Government has refused to provide such data.
There is a wide and growing opinion among migrant groups, notable MigrantWatch.org, that either the Government doesn’t know or that the figures are so vast it is terrified of releasing such figures to the public.
As I sit here wondering how the average household will cope in a complete financial meltdown my thoughts turn to those rich and powerful individuals who currently Government Britain.
I strongly suspect that all of them have converted most of their liquid assets into Gold for it is only gold that will retain any value once they finally bankrupt Britain.
As for the rest of us minions; well we are the ones who will face mass unemployment, a collapse of the housing market, our pensions worthless and unable to even get at our savings.
It all might appear like a doomsday scenario but believe me there is more truth in what I write here than anything you will ever get out of a politician.
