BRITISH TAXPAYER TO BAIL OUT CYPRUS – I am not in the least bit surprised that the British taxpayer is being forced to bail out Cyprus and after last month’s agreement between the EU and Cyprus it was merely a matter of time before the British were once again called to bail out yet another EU member state for failing to manage its banking system or economy.
News on the wire is that the British Taxpayer is going to have to divvy up £38 million as the International Monetary Fund (IMF) hands over £850 million towards the £8.5 billion required rescuing the country.
As Britain is well and truly shackled into the innate and dysfunctional system and as a result of Britain having to provide 4.5% of IMF funding the total bill will cost the British taxpayer £38 million.
I am not sure about other taxpayers but I am truly sick and tired of the Government wasting money on those who simply are incompetent. You only have to look a back over the last few years to see that we have already bailed our Ireland, Portugal and Greece to the tune of over £12.5 billion just to save these counties and the Euro from collapse.
Just think what any sensible Government could have achieved with this type of finance if it finally gave the people a referendum on pulling out of what is nothing less than a corrupt and failing system? Think of our Education or Health Care Systems – both could do with a massive injection of cash and yet what does our Government do? They give it to those in highly paid positions for doing what less than anywhere near approaching competency.
Seriously people, if you took all of the Government Officials in Europe and tested their combined IQ it is unlikely this would accrue double digits. So much for advanced evolution.
The Eurozone, in anyone’s view, well at least those who don’t wear rose tinted glasses, it nothing less than a ‘debt bubble’ and we are already seeing many of the bubbles bursting.
The UK having to bail-out Cyprus isn’t even undertaken with any forthright and open accountability it is simply a back-door measure through our IMF membership that allows Brussels to continuously raping the British taxpayer without even a hint of protection against the onslaught of disease.
The whole Cypriot crisis is bathed in controversy including the Cypriot Government being given the green light by Brussels to plunder savers account; which is tantamount to nothing less than theft. It is incredulous to think that if you walk into a bank where savers keep their hard earned cash, produce a gun and flee you will be subjected to potentially long stretch in prison. However, wear a pinstripe suit, wield a pen and call yourself a Euro Government Official and you can basically get away with any crime; including that of theft.
No doubt, through the direct failings of other foreigner government ministers, there will shortly be yet another EU member state holding out the begging bowl to the UK but instead of asking “Please sir can I have some more” it will be more akin to “Just pay up because you have no choice.”
Is this what the British people really signed up to Europe for? What fools we have been to be so easily blindsided into a system that continues to plunder the UK taxpayer without any type of accountability.
