THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE LINE THE STREETS TO WELCOME TROOPS HOME FROM AFGHANISTAN – Once again David Cameron shows little concern to the public moods as he, and his family, fly off to Ibiza while Britain is gripped in grief and fear over the terrorist attack in Woolwich where Lee Rigby, one of our finest British soldiers is brutally murdered.

Was it right for Cameron to take a holiday at this time of national crisis and mourning? Have your say… leave your comments below.
It would appear that nothing would prevent Dave from taking a holiday while the rest of us are left hanging as to what he proposes to do over the terrorist murder of Lee Rigby.
Think about this for a moment – Lee served in Afghanistan on a pittance of a pay packet, paid taxes and put his life on the line every day so that the likes of us can enjoy our liberty and how does Dave deal with situation? Again he shows such insensitivity, even contempt, as he swans off for a holiday in the sun.
As the days and weeks have passed, since Cameron took office I can honestly say that I have no respect for the man we call Prime Minister and I suspect many feel the same way.
You would honestly think in the hour of crisis Cameron would be at the helm, not sipping a cocktail on a tropical beach with his wife.
You might expect, at the very least, Cameron would have stuck around and given Lee’s family some type of reassurance that he is taking action.
I wonder if he’ll be back in the UK in time for the funeral; that’s if he had any intention of attending it in the first place – which he should.
It was only two days ago that Cameron was chairing and emergency Cabinet committee meeting COBRA to discuss the murder of Lee Rigby and what measures should be taken to prevent such an atrocity from happening again.
Yes it has to be said with all the will and good intentions in the world you will never stop an insane individual from committing murder; but we know this wasn’t simply a random murder – it was an Islamic extremist plot and one that could have been prevented.
There is simply no reason on earth that David Cameron should be on holiday at this time and as a few opposition MPs pointed out, it really goes to show you just how ‘out of touch’ Cameron is with the rest of the country – I am beginning to think that he knows there’s isn’t a chance in hell that he’ll win the next general election and is therefore simply going through the motions. Maybe it’s time for David Cameron to retire.
There is no question in my mind that the public, especially at a time such as this, deserve much better from our Prime Minister. It’s time David Cameron woke up or simply stepped aside.
