CAMERON VOWS TO RESTRICT IMMIGRANTS ENTERING THE UK SEEKING BENEFITS - In an interview David Cameron has vowed that he, and his government, is going to initiate plans to defy and block EU reforms that would allow EU member states access to state funded benefits. Recently I wrote an article on the up and coming ‘Freedom of Movement’ legislation that will put Great Britain at risk of being overrun by up to 29 million immigrants from Eastern Europe, all seeking free handouts that they would be legally entitled to under the new rules, that are due to take effect in 2015.You can read the article at : Britain Needs to Close Its Borders Now
At this point I’m tempted just to go ahead and bang my head against the wall, because it was only the other day that David Cameron told the British Public that he was going to initiate a Referendum on Europe. So what happened?
I can’t honestly say that I’m overly surprised. There isn’t a day that goes by that you do not see David Cameron on the TV spouting the usual public relations spin. Wouldn’t it be more productive if David were to cut out his daily TV appearances and simply get on with the job that he is employed to do?
I have to say that recently the thing David Cameron has had to say all make perfect sense – By pass Europe and Deport Criminals – Hold a Referendum on Pulling Out of Europe and many other wonderful ideas in order to put the British state of affairs in order. Unfortunately, like most things, we rarely see any of this come to fruition. Isn’t it about time that we gave David Cameron the sack? Let’s be blunt about this, he’s as useless as a fairly without wings and none of his promises fly.
“It would be difficult but possible to renegotiate a better deal for Britain as the EU thrashes out a new treaty among Euro zone countries.” David Cameron
With the statement above it is perfectly clear that David Cameron is NOT going to give the British Public a referendum on Europe – such a statement would simply not be necessary if a referendum was held, as it is clear that the British people would vote overwhelmingly to pull out of what is an antiquated, draconian and dictatorial regime; which the UK should have no part.
There is, in my view, no harm in doing business with the European countries, that is the free movement of goods and services, but that is where is should firmly stop. The British people do NOT need to be dictated to by the likes of Angela Merkel or any other member of the EU.
It is reported, as I wrote this that the Home Secretary Theresa May in already looking and ways of curbing access to welfare by EU Citizens as the limits on the number of Bulgarian and Romanian immigrants will be lifted in 2012. The question is why does Theresa May need to concern herself of such a task – surely David Cameron’s plan to hold a referendum would negate the need for such plan? If the British people voted to pull out of Europe then this situation would simply not exist.
I would like to ask the Prime Minister exactly what his intentions are. Is it down to the fact that he and his government are totally incompetent or is the lack of a firm referendum his assurance of being able to gain a cushy job in Europe when the British people sack him from office in the next elections? Let’s be honest here, how many failed and incompetent politicians make up the European Parliament – that would be all of them. David Cameron, as he stated in the interview, that he believes pulling out of Europe is not that answer, but working with them in order to find a common ground was the way forward.
The problem with the European Union is that each country is seeking to garner rules and regulations for its own benefit and it is this very premise as to why the EU cannot work. David Cameron’s statement is a clear indication that is it is highly unlikely that a referendum will be held and therefore the British people will have to continue to suffer at the hands of Brussels until it can elect a government that has the spine and fortitude to govern the United Kingdom to the will of the people and not to govern it in a way that will assure the individual politicians and nice cushy job after they have driven the UK into the ground and overrun it with scrounging immigrants, criminals and terrorists.
