DAVID CAMERON VOWS TO GAG ISLAMIC EXTREMISTS – With the public’s anger over the horrific and brutal murder of Lee Rigby, a British Soldier, who was hacked to death in board daylight in Woolwich last week, David Cameron is looking to finally put an end in allowing Islamic Preachers to spread their messages of Jihad.

According to the reports Cameron intends to prevent Islamic hate preachers from holding Jihadist seminars in schools, colleges, prisons and mosques; and in the view of the public, this hasn’t come soon enough.
On the evening of Lee’s murder the English Defense League took to the streets and attack a number of mosques, not just in Woolwich. It would have been all too easy for the public to support what the EDL has done that night but it was pleasing to see that the Public actually disagreed with their actions.
For the most part the EDL are little more than thugs and dealing with this situation in an unlawful way, meeting violence with violence, is no way to achieve peace or safety on our streets.
David Cameron has stated that a new task force TERFOR (Tackling Extremism and Racialisation) will consist of senior Ministers, MI5, the Police and moderate religious leaders.
Anjem Choudary, British born Muslim hate cleric
No longer will hate preachers, such as Anjem Choudary be allowed to stand on a street corner calling upon Muslims to engage in acts of terror against the innocent; and it’s about time.
As a staunch defender of the right to freedom of speech, the right of free expression and free press there are still boundaries that should not be crossed and hate preaching that calls for the death of innocent people is certainly one of them.
It would be easy to assume that any such measure goes against the grain of democracy and the right to voice your opinion; however these hate preachers are often not voicing an opinion but rather inducing the radicalization of others in order to carry out the most heinous of crimes.
Lee Rigby – Murdered by Islamic extremists in Woolwich
I for one have long called for the reinstatement of the death penalty; covering a range of heinous crimes including murder, child rape and terrorism. In a poll conducted by the Daily Mail it was not surprising that of those asked if the death penalty should be reinstated for crime of terrorism 63% of those question felt it should be reinstated.
There is little doubt in my mind that we need to change the laws so that we can effectively deal with external and home-grown terrorists. Make no mistake the enemy are those who call themselves men of God and on one hand will tell you that Allah is all merciful and with the other murder the innocent in his name.
