DEMI MOORE IS EYEING UP ASHTON KUTCHER’S FORTUNE IN DIVORCE SETTLEMENT – After what seems like an eternity of splitting up and getting back together again, Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher are to divorce and it’s now time to divvy up the finances.
I rarely feel that the rich and famous every really marry for love and in this case my cynical view has always been that Ashton simply married Demi, not so much for the money, but as a way to boost his own career, which of course has made him fabulously wealthy.
In the case of Moore and Kutcher there is no prenuptial agreement which may have suited Kutcher at the time but as his career and savvy investments have developed he now outstrips Moore’s fortune by a considerable amount and Moore is poised to go after it in the divorce settlement.
From a relatively unknown, Ashton Kutcher, since marrying Demi Moore, now commands millions for starring in a movie. Even the sitcom producers of ‘Two and a Half Men’ pay him a staggering $20 million a year and this is only the tip of the iceberg. Some insiders put Kutcher’s wealth well over $100 million.

Demi Moore on the other hand hasn’t really done that much in the last few years, due to apparently being destroyed by Ashton’s continuous string of affairs which has left her deeply depressed and even being admitted to a hospital on a number of occasions over the on-going issues between them.
I feel saddened but not surprised that the two are now divorcing and the writing was on the wall, although Demi refused to accept the fact that marrying such a young man was always going to end in tears.
No doubt Ashton is going to feel the sting of Demi’s lawyers in what could be a very expensive divorce settlement.
