FRUSTRATED DOCTOR SHAMES BENEFIT SCROUNGING PATIENTS – Going on the sick is one of the preferred methods for those who are simply bone idle and don’t want to work.
Ask any hard working taxpayer in the street about welfare scroungers and it’s likely you’ll get a justified barrage of expletives.
The truth is we don’t like scroungers and we like lazy scroungers even less and yet popping along to the doctor in order to get a bogus sick note appears to be a growing trend.
For one doctor he has quite clearly had enough. Dr Phil Peverley feels that those asking for sick notes are basically making a mockery of his profession.
Dr Peverley feels that it is a doctor’s job to try and heal sick people not to confirm a sickness merely to enable people to claim benefits; unfortunately his GP surgery carries an all too familiar number of faces looking for him to do just that.
Dr Peverley has come up with the notion that maybe he should put up a large poster of Profession Stephen Hawking with the message “This guy isn’t on the sick.”
Dr Peverely went on to say that declaring someone ‘fit for work’ is often met with a barrage of indignation. It is therefore obvious these people don’t want to work but would rather spend their days doing nothing at the taxpayers’ expense.
Whilst I fully agree with Dr Peverely that the welfare system is being abused it is unlikely that he would get away with putting up such a poster; although he should and measure the reaction he gets from the scroungers.
It sickens me, and no doubt every other taxpayer, that we have to continuously support those who are simply lazy.
Whilst the Government have been making some headway in Welfare Reform this is often, and not surprisingly, held back by the liberal loony Nick Clegg; this idiot honestly thinks the UK is a Utopia of the liberal dream.
The truth here is that in reality the UK is broke and Nick Clegg probably wouldn’t pass a mental health examination. Still not to worry because come 2015 we can all remove the lunatics and hopefully employ doctors to run the asylum.
We desperately need more Welfare Reforms whereby able people will clearly have a choice; work or starve and if they choose to starve this shouldn’t be the concern of the taxpayer.
We all have a choice in life and whilst people fall on hard times, in which support is right and just, we should not allow a system to be abused by those who choose to abuse it.
Would you support more Welfare Reforms? Are you sick (no pun intended) on of being taxed simply to support benefit scroungers? Please leave your comments below.
