GREEDY MPS CLAIMING GAS AND ELECTRICITY BILLS AS EXPENSES – According to an article in the Daily Mail hundreds of MPs are claiming their gas and electricity bills as part of their expenses.
Collectively MPs have claimed a total of £200,000 a year for gas and electricity; this is of course on top of their vastly exorbitant salaries and already over bloated expense accounts.

Is anyone really shocked to discover that our MPs are basically stealing from the taxpayer? Yes at meebal.com we view this as little more than theft but there is little or nothing we can do to oppose it… or is there?
The trouble with the British people is that we have lost our will to fight against injustice and in the process have simply given up.
Recently we’ve been subjected to a hike in energy prices by as much as 11.2% and despite our complaints little or nothing has been done about it by our Government.
Oh yes we’ve had Red Ed spouting his hollow rhetoric of how he’ll freeze energy prices and even nationalize the big bad energy companies if he’s elected in 2015. Unfortunately this spineless fool was the perpetrator of all our current problems during his tenure under the last Labour Government as Energy Secretary.
Despite his flagrant disregard to the British public as former Energy Secretary he’s also one of those MPs who are stealing from the taxpayer. Red Ed recently claimed a £403.59 fuel bill as part of his constituency expenses.
The award for having the largest snout in the trough goes to Tory MP Nadim Zahawi who had the audacity to charge the taxpayer a staggering £5,822.27 for power at his luxury £1 million home.
Of course all this is perfectly acceptable in the eyes of MPs and Ministers despite the fact that a number of age concern groups are expecting some 24,000 pensioners to die this coming winter from the cold as they can’t afford to heat their homes.
How despicable can an MP get? There are no boundaries when it comes to feeding from the public trough and each of them will do whatever it takes to ensure their jobs and ability to get at the Treasury is secure.
It was of course just a couple of weeks ago that Alan Milburn MP suggested scrapping the heating allowance for pensioners – yes even condemning people to death appears acceptable providing it doesn’t affect them or their families.
It is clear, crystal clear, that this Government needs to go and anyone thinking about voting Labour seriously needs to re-examine their choice.
We need a change in direction and above all we need to prevent these greedy MPs from being able to shove their snouts into the Taxpayer’s trough at every possible opportunity.
David Cameron will continue to talk about ‘accountability’ but this is a fool that cannot only not count but has recently become Britain’s biggest traitor by allowing a Royal Charter on Press Regulation to be signed.
There appears little or no hope left for Britain whilst we continue to allow MPs have free rein at the Treasury for their own personal gain.
