GRUMPY CAT LAUNCHES BOOK – Spend just 30 minutes browsing Facebook, Twitter or indeed any of the social networks and it doesn’t take long to realise that there are some pretty weird and completely absurd posts going on.
Yes we have had everything from highly talented people to cute funny babies and of course those weird and hilarious pictures of our pets.
It was but a short time ago that a cat appeared among the pigeons after its owners posted a few pictures of a very grumpy looking feline; complete with some amusing captions.
The cat quickly became a social media superstar and now Tardar Sauce (the cats’ real name) has his very own book.
Of course once you reach superstardom then you’ll need your own manager, a dedicated Facebook page and your very own Twitter account. Yes Grumpy Cat has all of these and has to date managed to garner over 115,000 Twitter followers and no less than 1.6 million Facebook fans.
Grumpy Cat isn’t simply an online sensation; in fact he’s now featured on some of the top newspapers and magazines in the world, including the front pages of The Wall Street Journal and New York Magazine.
Grumpy Cat book is now available on Amazon and in most good book shops and as usual Grumpy Cat is looking increasingly miserable with plenty to say about life – maybe he’s not amused that his owners, from Arizona, pushed him into the media spotlight and made him a star – who knows.
