LIBERAL MP LABELED A SEX PEST AND CLEGG IGNORED A PLEA FOR HELP – Shocked, astonished, and amazed… well not really as Nick Clegg, the Deputy Prime Minister appears to have a knack of surrounding himself with friends and fellow MP’s who like to abuse their position of power through sexual harassment.
A woman, in Mike Hancock MP constituency, who cannot be named for legal reasons, sent Nick Clegg a rather damning email of Mike Hancock’s unprofessional conduct and sexual advances after she visited him to get help over an issue with noisy neighbours.
As first Ms X emailed Nick Clegg with a detailed complaint but received an automated response informing her that due to the high number of emails it would be better if a letter was written and posted.
Not to be deterred Ms X wrote a letter and sent it by ‘recorded delivery’ to ensure it reached Nick Clegg. This was in 2011 and was never answered.
I am I shocked? Well considering the people that Clegg runs around with the answer would be no. You know what they say; “Birds of a feather, flock together” and this is true for any party – you have to be a short-sighted, like-minded idiot in the firstly place, with no moral principles or scruples to become an MP. On top of that you have to consider that this is the ‘Liberal’ party we are talking about and the probable internal view is that Mike was just ‘expressing’ himself and that boys will be boys.
Seriously people Liberal Democrats are nothing more than slugs that needs salting – any party that rallies around sex offenders or uses their power, as Lord Rennard did, to get away with his predatory behaviour really does deserve nothing less than our contempt.
When it comes to questionable sexual misconduct then Mike Hancock MP deserves an award for the least moral MP that has slithered through the Houses of Parliament; and that’s saying something considering those to take up residence there.
Mike Hancock of the last 30 years has been in and out of the national newspapers with questions over his sexual advances and misconduct and yet despite all the complaints the wagons have always circled and he’s managed to hold office.
The letter, which has been viewed by the Daily Mail, and it’s a shame they didn’t reprint it in full, details Ms X’s astonishment and dismay that her letter never received an appropriate reply. Parts of the letter, the Daily Mail did print which reads…
“I am also deeply upset that as the Deputy Prime Minister and leader of the Liberal Democrats you have done nothing to oust this man from politics. He cannot be trusted and he is a liability to women, the public and also your party. His conduct should be a matter for you as leader of the party.” Ms X
Like most things in life, if you don’t take preventative action, it will come back to bite you right in the backside and on this occasion that’s exactly what has happened. Due to the recent scandal of Lord Rennard’s sexual misconduct this incident has now also been thrown in the pot only adding to the ingredients of mistrust, incompetence and a willingness to turn a blind eye, none of which are admirable traits for an MP although these appear to be the consistent make-up of what today’s MP’s are all about.
Finally, but only after this issue could no longer be hidden away (which is why the Lib Dems would dearly love to see the Freedom of Press firmly shackled and silenced) Nick Clegg ordered his Chief Whip to investigate Ms X’s claims of sexual misconduct by Mike Hancock and has since interviewed him over the allegations. It was reported that the Chief Whip would report his findings to Nick Clegg in two weeks. Why it would take that long is anyone’s guess but I strongly suspect it’ll take two weeks to concoct a cock-n-bull story that will once again leave Hancock with this seat in Parliament.
Let’s just look at the past of the Liberal Democrats, because sexual misconduct appears to be the flavor of what makes up the party as a whole.
As stated earlier, Mike Hancock is no stranger to these types of accusations. In fact Paddy (Pants Down) Ashdown and Charles Kennedy had written their concerns about Hancock in the 1990’s but regardless of these concerns nothing was done about it.
The current allegation, regarding Ms X, is that Hancock kissed her, groped her breast and exposed himself. Hancock was actually arrested, but not charged due to the lack of evidence which has resulted in Ms X suing Hancock for sexual assault, harassment and misfeasance in public office.
It beggars belief that creepy individuals such as Rennard, Hancock and Clegg are allow to hold any type of office. I have come to the conclusion that it would be almost impossible to find a moral bone in all the bodies of the entire House of Commons. I would like to call for the resignation of Clegg on grounds that his is immorally incompetent but that’s unlike to have an effect on someone with no scruples and where placing a rather large filing cabinet up against the closet door to prevent further skeletons falling out is not doubt the priority at the moment rather than any form of justice for the victims of his lack of decency and leadership.
Oh what a tangled web we weave Mr. Clegg.
