LITTLE GIRL LEFT FOR DEAD AS MOTORCYCLISTS FLEE THE SCENE AFTER RUNNING HER DOWN – Little Olivia Pollard was crossing the road with her mother in Rotherham when three off-road motorbikes came hurtling around the bend.
Olivia was hit by the first motorbike and hurtled into the air; the other two avoided hitting her but none of the motorcyclists, thought to be local youths riding their bikes illegally, bothered to stop.

I’ve been asked a number of times why, as a journalist, do I provide a personal opinion; it is often seen as unprofessional.
I am of course delighted to tell anyone that I am not a journalist but rather a person who is willing to provide a point of view and when such an atrocity as this occurs I thankfully do not have to bow down or bend over to an editor.
Little Olivia is yet anotherr victim of the lawless society that Britain has become. It is the lack of respect, discipline and care that has lead Britain to this point. Yes, accidents happen but to flee the scene when a child has been so badly injured is an act so despicable it no longer qualifies for the perpetrators to be called human.
In the original article by the Daily Mail the local Police Inspector rightly pointed out that this was a very serious incident that could quite have easily turned into a murder hunt. One witness said that she could still hear the off-road motorbike buzzing around.
So, the police think it’s serious and one witness could hear the motorbike nearby; but there was no report of the Police launching a helicopter to conduct a search for these criminals. The lack of such a report can only lead to the speculation that no such act was undertaken – I guess it must have come down to costs.
It’s astounding how many of our MPs and even the Speaker of the House, John Bercow, can waste vast sums of public money on pointless 1st Class transportation but making our streets safe is a second, third or even fourth priority; if you are lucky.
Take a good long and hard look at the injuries that Olivia sustained and tell me what action you would like taken if these criminals are ever caught.
The reality is, regardless of the public majority opinion, those involved will likely get off with a caution; a suspended sentence at worse. Jail time? No, unfortunately not; because that’s expensive and our Government have got far better things to do with your tax payments; such as providing non-elected MEPs with €300 a day in expenses when they don’t in fact incur any such expenses.
I’ve been referred to as a pretty angry fellow who’s views are sometimes a little clouded by passion and that may be the case but I am clearly able to determine right from wrong and what we have allowed Britain to become is clearly and unequivocally wrong.
Instead of our MPs and Ministers getting a nice big fat pay rise why doesn’t the Government scrap the IPSA; certainly kick Sir Kennedy out, and spend the money constructively on public services. Of course it could be said that if we stopped the EU and its MEPs from financially raping us then law and order could be properly funded.
It’s easy to say that this incident isn’t about politics and yet it is. We allow our politicians to continuously feed us with rhetoric that Britain is Great and that we live in an ordered, decent and just society.
The truth is that any decent human being would have stopped and assisted Olivia -so it’s clear that decency is not much of a factor in the UK.
As for Britain being just… well don’t count on those responsible ever being caught or if they are to face any kind of justice.
I have heard the argument that we can no longer simply lock people up for their crimes and of course the liberal left-wing would have you believe that these people are not criminals but rather victims of a society that provides them with little or no opportunity.
If you want justice in the UK then you need to start by changing our brainwashed ideology that the UK is a multicultural utopia. After that we need to pull out of the EU so that new laws, such as the reinstatement of public flogging, can be used as a clear deterrent.
Before you think about admonishing me for my inhumane views regarding public flogging, take another look at Olivia Pollard and tell me that you wouldn’t like to see the animals responsible for her injuries face a flogging.
We don’t want to be seen like other countries that use such methods as punishment for a crime and yet ask anyone in, say Singapore, who has received such a punishment if they ever went back for a second helping.
I am sure Olivia will make a full recovery and I hope she feels much better soon. As for the individuals who committed this crime; if you are reading this – I’d have you flogged and humiliated and then maybe you would, through the experience, learn humility and decency.
