MOROCCAN TEENAGERS ARRESTED FOR KISSING PICTURE ON FACEBOOK – No, I am not having a moment of madness nor is this an article of fantasy – it is completely true.
According to reports two teenagers have been arrested after engaging in a kiss, having a photograph taken of them doing so and then posting it on Facebook.
Morocco is of course an Islamic State and under their laws of decency such an act is not permitted outside of marriage and certainly not in public.
The two teenagers, reported as girlfriend and boyfriend ages 14 and 15, were arrested shortly after posting the picture on Facebook by Moroccan police.
Currently they are being held in a juvenile detention facility and are set to appear in court next week; if found guilty they could both be subject to a public flogging of up to 40 lashes each.
It was only yesterday that meebal.com reported on a Sudanese woman receiving a flogging by a police officer due to breaking public decency laws by accepting a ride in a car by a man who was not either her husband or relative.
This latest incident has caused outrage among the youth in Morocco resulting in hundreds protesting by staging a sit-in outside the court house and posting hundreds of pictures on Facebook of teenage Moroccans kissing.
The BBC has reported that a campaign is underway in order to post one million copycat photographs in defence of the teenagers and in an attempted to get the Moroccan officials to release them without punishment.
It does appear almost unbelievable in this day and age that a couple could be arrested for such triviality but unfortunately that is the way with Islamic law and something that Muslims would like to impose upon every human being on the planet.
