MOTHER FINALLY PROVES ARMY HERO IS HER DAUGHTERS FATHER - You’ve just got the love the British Government and the Ministry of Defense. According to reports in the Daily Mail, Emma Hickman, 19, was unable to ‘Officially’ name her daughter with the family name of her dead finance Daniel Wade, who tragically lost his life in the senseless campaign in Afghanistan to a terrorist bomb just three months before his daughter’s birth and the chance of marrying his long time sweetheart.
The report goes on to say how this poor young lass had to endure months of legal wrangling just to prove that Daniel was indeed the father. Not to be deterred Emma continued to press the M.O.D in order to release his DNA so that doctors could prove he was the biological father.
It is now official and finally Emma and her daughter, Lexie-Mai, can now use the Daniels family name on the birth certificate and are eligible for compensation from the government.
What is really tragic here is the fact that Private Daniel Wade, 20, died with five comrades in Helmand when his Warrior armored fighting vehicle was blown up by a roadside Taliban bomb. This resulted in not only a tragic loss of life but the heartbreaking fact that not only did Daniel not get to see his daughter but that she and Emma has had to go through so much in order to prove Daniel was the biological father.
You have to ask yourself what is the state of the UK when we openly allow anyone through our borders but we make a mother, who’s fiance died protecting our rights, is made to go through so much. Quite frankly, in my view, this article should never have needed to be written. What should of happened is that the government, and more importantly the M.O.D, should have rushed through the paperwork, sent the DNA for immediate testing and had all this wrapped up in less than a week.
My heart really goes out to Emma and little Lexie-Mai because their grief was sever enough without the government and the M.O.D adding to their sorrows. Prime Minister, David Cameron, came out to say, on behalf of Emma and Lexie-Mai, that this situation must stop and must not be allowed to continue. Well David that’s one thing you got right so far this year, how about you back up those words with a little action?
It is being suggested, and it a good idea, that all service men and women should have their DNA on record to prevent this type of thing happening. What would be even better of course is to pull out of the senseless war in Afghanistan and leave them to sort out their own problems. Whilst we are at it why not cut the Foreign Aid and give more to the likes of Emma and Lexie-Mai who have lost so much?
The UK Government and its departments never cease to astound or shock me with its callous level of coldness towards the most deserving, but are quite happy, so they appear politically correct in the eyes of Europe, to let anyone enter our borders and live off those who have given so much.
Isn’t it about time that the British people had a government where a series of electronic online referendums could be conducted over the war in Afghanistan and Foreign Aid, but to mention a few?
Isn’t it about time the British people decide if all of this nonsense should be put a stop to? The problem is of course finding someone with the spine to put a stop to this madness appears almost impossible and certainly David Cameron and his cronies of the ‘Old Boys Network’ appear uninterested in any form of democracy.
Regardless of my thoughts on the subject of this government I think congratulations are in order for Emma and Lexie-Mai. We at Meebal.com hope you find peace and that the memory of Daniel lives on for all of our sake. We must not forget the fallen of those who gave so much asking for very little in return. God bless Emma and Lexie-Mai and may Daniel be at peace knowing there are people out there that care.
