MPs Accessing Hardcore Pornography at Parliament

MPS ACCESSING HARDCORE PORNOGRAPHY AT PARLIAMENT -  There are not that many people I know of that hold Members of Parliament in very high esteem.  In fact the very thought of being an MP for most is akin to prostitution.  Therefore it comes as no surprise that evidence has been uncovered that MP’s computers are being used on a regular basis in order to view hardcore pornography on the internet.

According to reports in the Daily Mail a particular pornography website had been accessed more than 2,500 times MP’s and their staff.  Also in the report is stated that a ‘Gay Cruising’ site had also been accessed over 3,500 times.

In a statement by a parliamentary spokesman it was reported that this activity is often by mistake.

MP’s, under Parliamentary IT Rules, are not permitted to access any type of pornography using the Parliamentary network, but these rules are obviously being breached on a vast number of occasions and if in fact these are all ‘mistakes’ it certainly shows just how incompetent our government ministers and their staff are.

Another disturbing trend was the high number of views a particular website has been getting; which deals in Adulterous Affairs.  I can’t honestly say that I find this at all shocking considering the moral fortitude of our MP’s or their staff, although in all sense I should be more than a little shocked.

This, in my view, really does show the contempt that MP’s and government workers have for the British public.  Instead of channeling their efforts in to running the country and making society a better place to live, it is apparently obvious that their own personal interests come first and at the expense of the taxpayer.

“Many people working in Parliament are spending far too much time surfing websites that have nothing to do with their jobs. What’s more, this evidence suggests codes of conduct are being breached.

It is vital that taxpayers are able to scrutinise how time they are paying for is spent and that anyone caught breaking the rules is appropriately punished.” Matthew Sinclair, of the TaxPayers’ Alliance

I am sure, after reading this, that most taxpayers will be neither shocked or indeed surprised at the activities our MP’s get up to and their behaviour certainly reflects their chosen profession.
