NIGEL FARAGE UKIP: FRIEND OR FOE – All of my life I have been a staunch supporter of the Conservative Party but my hopes and dreams for what Britain is and stands for has been eroded away with years of mismanagement by the last Labour Party and through a Conservative Party that is so detached from reality the country is now being swallowed whole by liberal left-wing political correctness and progressive propaganda that refuses to listen to sense.
If I am not to vote for the Conservative Party what is the alternative? Install someone like Ed Miliband whose main concerns are his union buddies or worse elect Nick Clegg whose more interested in plough taxpayers money into his wife’s charity or covering up sex abuse that is chums engage in.
It appears the only alternative is Nigel Farage and UKIP. I know what you are thinking; these guys are a bunch of fruitcakes and closet racists. Well, if you’ve been reading the news over the last 6 months this is exactly what David Cameron and Ken Clarke would have you believe.
Let’s look a little deeper. David Cameron, despite his promise of an in/out referendum on the EU if he is elected in the next General Election is unlikely to come about. Cameron’s track record of promising the public to address major issues is appalling and he’s already made his stance perfectly clear in that he will do everything in his power to remain firmly in Europe.
Whilst you might think, considering the issue we have with Europe, this is an absurd idea the truth is that the likes of Cameron and all his cronies will be heading off to Brussels when they are kicked out of office and the last thing any of them want is seeing an end to our ties with the EU that will ultimately provide them with a very comfortable pay package at the taxpayers’ expense.
Ken Clark on the other hand lost the plot years ago and is completely barking mad. He believes that not only should we remain firmly in the EU but better still hand over every decision making power we have left so that parliament becomes obsolete. In other words he wants to sell Britain, or what’s left of it, to the non-elected officials in Brussels and finally remove any trace of democracy in Britain.
The more people I speak to the more I am beginning to realise the significant shift towards UKIP. Nigel Farage is an extremely colourful character and he also has an extremely good handle on the pulse of the public and is not blinkered by the EU’s ability to buy him off; as it has with almost all of our MPs and Ministers.
The question I often ask people is that if Nigel Farage is so adept then why are we not seeing even bigger swings in support. The truth is that UKIP is in fact getting a lot more support; there are even hard line Tories, Liberals and Labourites who are making moves to defect due to their belief that the EU is out of control and needs stopping if Britain is to retain its independence.
The word on the street is just a whisper but that whisper is growing louder and whilst historically the British have always feared the ‘unknown quantity’, which UKIP is, there is however a real desperation to turn things around and it is looking increasingly likely that UKIP is the only party that has the mandate and will to do so.
If you have any doubts about Nigel Farage and UKIP then watch the couple of videos within this article. You’ll actually get a very good feel of who the man is, what he believes in and his unwavering passion for his country. I don’t think I have ever come across a politician that comes across and being so passionate and forthright and I sincerely hope, for the sake of Britain, that Nigel Farage, if he is elected, delivers the whole package.
