NIGERIA SPENDING BRITISH FOREIGN AID ON SPACE PROGRAM – This year alone the British taxpayer has been forced to hand over £300 million in Foreign Aid to Nigeria and yet despite over 70 percent of its population living well below the poverty line the Nigerian Government is spending the money on a Space Program where it hopes to put a Nigeria into space.
With the remarks from Godfrey Bloom, UKIP MEP, were stated that its madness for Britain to give billions each month in foreign aid to ‘Bongo Bongo’ lands, Cameron was quick to take up his remarks stating that the remarks were not only highly offensive but he’s taking the attitude of ‘stop the world I want to get off’ approach to foreign aid.
Despite Nigeria being an oil-rich country the British taxpayer has contributed over £1 billion to Nigeria over the last couple of years and even with this vast sum of money its people are still starving to death; mainly because the money is being squandered.
Godfrey Bloom was right; taxpayers are being fleeced by Cameron in his narcissistic endeavor to look like the hero of the world.
I am afraid this is yet more evidence that clearly shows Cameron and the rest of the fools running this country have completely lost the plot; in clear terms the patients are running the asylum.
As a nation the British are a generous bunch and we don’t mind putting our hands in our pockets to help out those who are in desperate need but why, when the British people are being squeezed with every austerity measure the Government can come up with, are we forced to hand over billions in order to put a person in space? Surely anyone with a modicum of sense can see this is pure madness.
Whilst Cameron accuses Godfrey Bloom of ‘wanting to get off’ in an approach to foreign aid he has the audacity to think Godfrey is shortsighted. I would therefore suggest that most of the British taxpaying public must also be shortsighted because squandering this amount of cash on the ridiculous notion of putting a person in space whilst people are starving to death is beyond me; and I suspect most of the British public.
Let’s look at this from a different perspective… Our NHS system is falling apart and yet the £1.2 billion that is being given to Nigeria could be used to solve a lot of these problems.
There are children in the UK who have been refused medical treatment due to the lack of funds available and yet despite this fact Cameron thinks it a great idea to keep giving billions of pounds of taxpayers’ money to countries with despot leaders.
It has to be said; either David Cameron is clinically insane or he’s on the take; because only a madman or a person lining their own pockets would engage in such an activity.
A number of journalists have asked David Cameron the critical question of why he’s allowing such a vast sum of money to be spent; his reply was the usual subterfuge by remarking on the so-called ‘racist’ remarks of Godfrey Bloom. In other words Cameron didn’t have an answer or rather he wasn’t able to tell the truth.
Godfrey Bloom on the other hand is one of the few politicians to stand up and tell the truth and even stated, which was perfectly correct in my view, that giving such vast sums of money where most of it is lost through corruption, both at source and within the receiving nation, was tantamount to treason.
Stand back for just one minute and look at the state of Britain. Things are so bad that Cameron has been cutting costs at every opportunity. Our schools, hospitals, police and defense budgets are all being cut and yet despite these vital services being slashed Cameron is continuously increasing the Department for International Development’s budget year on year.
Can anyone please explain to me the sense in this approach and what good will it do for Britain by turning it into a poverty stricken country; because that’s exactly where Britain is heading – it’s a train without breaks, traveling at breakneck speed and running out of track.
Let’s look at a few facts. Last year India didn’t want to take the foreign aid Britain was offering; basically they felt the amount was piffling and insulting so that got increased to £280 million. India is also another country with its own space program; funny how India can afford a space program and yet fails to tackle the atrocities of rape or indeed implement measures to end poverty.
Last year the bean counters started looking at the foreign aid figures and uncovered a financial black hole so vast it is simply eye-watering. There is also a huge disparity in their figures due to the fact that so much money is wasted it simply cannot keep track of it. However, it is suggested that somewhere between £2.5 and £5 billion is stolen by corrupt officials and politicians each year; and that is both at home and abroad.
Look closely at the divide of the figure and it is clear to see just how corrupt the entire system is. Now would anyone like to answer the question as to whether David Cameron is simply an incompetent fool or if he is one of the corrupt politicians who firmly has his sticky fingers in the cookie jar?
Before you try and answer that one consider this; there’s an old saying and it has always been proven to be true… “Scratch a liar, find a thief.” – How many times has Cameron been caught lying? I would venture to say he wouldn’t know the truth if it got up and kicked him firmly in the backside.
You may not like what I’ve written here but someone has to put it out there and ask the questions if we ever want to put an end to the madness and stop people like David Cameron stealing the taxpayer’s money.
You can cut this cake anyway you like but as a taxpayer I’m not given a choice; I am forced to hand over cash that is supposed to provide me with a number of beneficial services, such as being defended from foreign foes, access to medical treatment,..etc, but increasingly these are being removed in order to provide money for other countries that simply squander it.
Regardless to the waste David Cameron insists Britain has a duty to give and will continue doing so until we finally get rid of him and his side kick Nick Clegg.
Do you think Britain should stop providing Foreign Aid and look at using the money for issues within Britain? Please leave your comments below.
