No School Places for Our Children

NO SCHOOL PLACES FOR OUR CHILDREN – Anyone living in the UK can clearly see the devastating effects that an open immigration policy is having on society.  The Dutch last year announced that it is doing away with the so-called ‘multi-cultural’ society ethic in order to force immigrants to speak and interact with everyone instead of being segregated into ethnic groups that is simply fueling racial hatred.

Last year alone the Government provided an extra £5 billion into the education system in order to create more space – space, if our immigration levels where controlled could have been spent in other areas of education to boost the overall quality.

In the news recently a British school, in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire boasted that not one child in the school was white.  Its entire school was occupied by immigrants from all over the world, including Pakistan, India, Romanian, Bulgaria, Iran, Iraq and others.  Not one of the children spoke English as their first language and indeed there were over 20 different languages and dialects between them.

The National Audit Office has now provided the Government with details on the number of places that will be available for our children in schools next year and I doubt it will come as any surprise for anyone to learn that space in our classrooms will come up short by some 250,000 places.

The blame, as many suggestion, lies in the baby boom since the 1950’s and more importantly the excessive onslaught of foreign immigrants flocking to the UK; mainly because of it sanctions the right to free housing, benefits, education and healthcare.

The Audit details that some 240,000 places are needed just in Primary Schools alone; such is the extent of the birth rate and mainly by foreigners.

“Despite increases in places and funding over the last two years, the Department for Education faces a real challenge, with 256,000 places still required by 2014-2015.” Amyas Morse, head of the National Audit Office.

If you think the situation is dire at present then consider that this problem is expected to explode to nearly one million by the end of this decade, and just last year alone, that is directly attributable to immigration, the primary school population grew by a staggering 78,000 places.

In 2007, before Tony Blair enacted the Borders Act 2007, the average primary school classroom consisted of 15 children.  Today that number has over doubled with an average of 31 pupils; and while the Borders Act remains and with the Right of Free Movement to take effect in 2014, some experts are suggesting that schools could experience as many at 40 to 50 children per classroom in order to accommodate the every growing immigrant population.

As a parent of young children you can forget any notion you might have about being given a choice as to which school your children will attend.  With the burgeoning rate of immigrants and births parents will no longer have the luxury of picking schools that are within their catchment area nor choose a school to their liking.

Many schools in the United Kingdom are already reporting that they are over capacity and as we continue to keep our borders open this situation will worsen and with it the quality of education for our children; which is also current acknowledged at being far below the EU standard.

It must sound to some of my readers that I am a scaremonger and a racist to-boot.  The simple truth is these are the facts and there is no hiding them. As for being a racist; race has nothing to do with the fact that if immigration were reduced to zero tomorrow our school would have over 100,000 that would NOT be needed.  According to the Department for Education figures show that over-capacity is directly related to the number of foreign immigrants and their high levels of birth rate.

Did you know that many Councils are now having to resort to concreting over play areas in order to build more classrooms?  Did you know that even commercial building, such as old warehouses, offices and even retail units are now being converted and used as classrooms?  This clearly shows that the growth rate of the population, due to immigration, is so high that Councils cannot build schools or classrooms fast enough and therefore have taken to renovating commercial premises for the purpose of educating the masses.

“This is yet another example of Labour’s failure to plan for the inevitable effects of mass immigration which they stimulated.” Sir Andrew Green, of MigrationWatch UK

There is no doubt that this current Coalition Government, headed by David Cameron, is unable, or even unwilling, to put right the wrongs of the previous Labour Government and this is directly linked to the fear of being seen as an un-humanitarian or racist move.

The British public must put aside their fears of being labeled racists and finally acknowledge that the immigration issue can only make things worse.  With the influx of more and more immigrants, mostly coming here for the free handouts, the pressure on the taxpayer will only get worse and instead of our taxes going towards areas, such as higher quality education, it will simply be used to create more space for the immigrants’ children.

We need to get past worrying about offending the immigrants if we are to move on as a civilized society that is able to educate our children to a standard that will benefit their lives.  Just remember your silences advocates the decline of our education system and the ability to give your children the right to high quality education.
