OVER 500,000 IMMIGRANTS GIVEN SOCIAL HOUSING BUT BRITS ARE FORCED TO WAIT – Tony Blair and the last Labour Government had a dream of creating Europe’s largest multicultural cohesive society. It was supposed to be the shining example of the European landscape for the future.
What did we end up with? The writing is plain to see for those who are not too far indoctrinated into the liberal left-wing ideology that we can all live together in harmony.
The truth is that opening the doors to all migrants has been a complete and utter disaster for Britain and its multicultural heritage. It has become further divided and is being broken up in to almost a society of tribes.
According to the latest social housing figures there are now 1.8 million families waiting for a place to call home.
The current coalition Government, after coming to power, launched plans that would give ‘local’ people priority on the waiting list and clamp down on migrants walking in and taking priority status. The idea was to make migrants wait and only become eligible for social housing after residing in the UK for 2 years.
In the last 10 years alone, over 500,000 immigrants have been given social housing; which is funded by the hard working taxpayer.
Today some 1.2 million foreigners are living in social housing; that’s approximately one out of every eight but in our cities, such as London, this figure rises to one in five.
The National Census report was released yesterday and again it highlights the issues with a burgeoning population of migrants and once again casts serious doubt that the UK will be able to absorb the potentially millions of migrants from Romania and Bulgaria come 2014.
We already have a serious problem with Romanians living and begging on the streets. Some parts of London are being turned into Gypsy camps and from these the hordes hit the street to either beg or steal; crime is increasing and it’s not home made.
Those in Government who support mass immigration, the immigration lobbyists, appear to be conveniently overlooking the costs to the taxpayer.
“The figures serve to underline the huge costs of mass immigration – costs often ignored by the immigration lobby.” Sir Andrew Green, MigrationWatch
There is little doubt, considering the current state of affairs, that the Government must begin imposing tighter controls over those entering the UK.
Yes this is a humanitarian issue as many of those migrants are economical refugees but to continuously allow them entry that would eventually bankrupt the UK is pure folly on a humanitarian level.
We cannot and must not allow ourselves to be indoctrinated into the concept that we are responsible for the woes of other nations. Each nation, or at least its Government, should have a duty to care for its citizens. If any Government fails in its duty then it should be up to the people of those nations to take action and turn the situation around.
We should not be expected, nor should it be acceptable, for the masses to arrive in Britain and turn it into a wasteland similar from which they came
