People Helping Their Selves in Getting a Job
PEOPLE HELPING THEIR SELVES IN GETTING A JOB – Communication truly is a wonderful thing and it is simple amazing what we can achieve when we talk to each other.
The internet, as we know, plays a vital role in most people’s lives today. We are able, via the social networks to spread the news of what makes us laugh, cry, angry or happy and it is also a way for us to spread causes that are truly worth spreading.
I read a piece of news today that really warmed me to the core. It was all about a young graduate who was looking for a job and decided to spend his last bit of money on a Billboard Advertisement and then backing this up with a Web Address.
It worked! Within a short space of time Adam was offered over 100 jobs and is now gainfully, and happily, employed with a top media company.
This is certainly not the first time someone has gone to great lengths to find work. Indeed there have been many people using ‘Sandwich Boards’ in order to bring awareness that they are looking for work.
I have heard some people say that this is a bit ridiculous or simply over the top, but I strongly disagree with these remarks. There are some people out there, like myself, which would rather go out on a limb than to turn up at the Unemployment Office once a fortnight for a hand-out. In my view I would rather work for nothing than to burden the already overly burdened taxpayer.
So here’s my pitch, along with the countless others I have seen. My hope is not so much for employment; I simply do not have time. My goal is to make my own website popular, whereby I will be gainfully employed with a salary and hopefully be able to employ others – that’s more people the taxpayer does not have to support.
