REDUNDANCY IN THE BRITISH ARMED FORCES COSTING THE TAXPAYER £500 MILLION – It’s no secret that I despise David Cameron with every bone in my body and his continuing incompetency and nonchalant attitude towards the British public and our Armed Forces personnel is frankly staggering.
Less than an hour ago meebal.com published an article on the signing of the Royal Charter of Press Regulation which now effectively allows Mr. Cameron and his cronies to stifle freedom of speech and in turn Britain from a democracy into a oppressive regime.
But this is not about the Royal Charter on Press Regulation; this is about those brave men and women in the Armed Services who protect our liberty from all foes; foreign or domestic with their very lives.
In the last four years alone Mr. Cameron has managed to decimate our Armed Force; almost one in ten of our soldiers have been made redundant and today our Armed Forces have dwindled from 102,000 to just 82,000.
It’s not just the fact that Mr. Cameron is nonchalant towards the safety of Britain but also the fact that he doesn’t appear in the least bit concerned about sending our troops into battle without having access to the proper equipment.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again Mr. Cameron is a traitor and frankly he should be sent into Afghanistan with nothing more than a water pistol and maybe then he’ll be able to fully appreciate what our troops have to endure.
£500 million; that’s what the current bill to the taxpayer stands at for all the redundancies Mr. Cameron has insisted upon within the Armed Forces.
The level of his nonchalance and indeed incompetency is staggering when you realise that £38 billion of taxpayer’s money has simply vanished from the books of the MoD.
500,000; that’s the number of civil servants currently employed by the British Government and no doubt you’re shaking your head as to why it takes half a million pen pushers to run Britain. It might also surprise you to know that at the height of the British Empire when we ruled one quarter of the globe the entire operation was administered by just 4,000 civil servants.
Of course the answer is simple… they are all incompetent and it has to be said that a vast majority of them have their sticky fingers in the Treasury – that’s you piggy bank.
Unfortunately Mr. Cameron is unable to take the knife to the Civil Service for those are the people who stave off Mr. Cameron from appearing totally incompetent. It is often the case that Civil Servants are used as pawns in order to divert any misgivings of our Prime Minister, Ministers and MPs.
If you think this is a little far-fetched then consider Sharon Shoesmith, the head of Children’s services who was effectively responsible for the death of Baby P. After she got sacked, in order to protect those higher up, she managed to win a £700,000 plus compensation package for losing her job and on top of that the taxpayer was forced to pay nearly £200,000 to lawyers.
There is also another issue to consider here… Mr. Cameron has just employed the services of an Election Strategist, Lynton Crosby. Mr. Crosby’s fee is a staggering £500,000 which effectively means Mr. Cameron has just stolen £500,000 from the taxpayer to have someone help him come up with an election strategy because he doesn’t have a clue what the British public wants.
Exasperated? You may well be but don’t worry for all is about to change. With the introduction of the Royal Charter on Press Regulation you won’t have to hear about such allegations or rather plain truth much longer for Mr. Cameron now has the ability to gag the press.
Regardless of Mr. Cameron’s plans meebal.com for one will remain a fly in his ointment for we are now planning to move our operations outside of Britain to a country where democracy and freedom of speech are still viewed as a right not a privilege that may or may not be provided by a dictator and a traitor.
