ROMANIAN GANG POSED AS TRAFFIC POLICE TO SCAM MOTORISTS – Between August and October 2012 four Romanian nationals conned tourists out of more than £25,000 along the Kent highway.
The rues was simple… target only cars with foreign plates, pull them over using a fake blue light, along with forged police warrant cards and then fleece the occupants.
In one case alone the gang pulled over a minibus and persuaded the occupants to hand over £14,000 in cash. They told the occupants that they were checking the cash for any possible forgeries however once they got back into their car they sped off with their haul.
Facing a judge and jury yesterday all four men were found guilty of various charges including theft by deception, forgery, impersonating a police officer and other offences. The four were collectively sentenced to 19 years in prison and an order to be deported upon their release.
In court it was revealed that the gang was caught after trying to scam the same motorist just a few days later and the men were caught on CCTV.
Alberto Chivea, 25, from Tottenham, north London, Constantin Tanase, 23, of no fixed address, Stefanita Iorga, 27, from Ilford, Essex, and Ninel Besleaga, 30, from Tottenham, all pleaded guilty to conspiracy to steal at an earlier court hearing.
From the comments on this news from other sources I am certainly not the only one who is sick and tired of hearing how Eastern Europeans are coming to the United Kingdom in order to commit crime.
It was earlier this year that I wrote an article on the ‘Most Wanted Criminals’ in the UK. All, apart from two Polish, were Romanian and this neither shocked nor surprised me or my readers.
One the comments, from a different news source, stated … “Deported? You must be joking. They would all be allowed to stay because of their Human Rights. Besides when they get released the Right of Free Movement will be in effect and they can simply come back to engage in more crime. The UK is a joke.
This is just one sentiment, but I can assure you this person is not alone and pretty much all the other comments I read had the same overtone.
The Home Secretary, Theresa May, has been promising us that she will scrap the Human Rights Act and pull out of the European Court of Human Rights but as usual the Coalition Liberal Democrats are having none of it and are happy to continue to allow criminals and terrorists from all over the world to setup base here; often at the expense of the taxpayer due to the financial support they require that we cannot refuse.
This is seen by the public as total madness and yet the public still do not rally and force the government to provide a democratic referendum that would allow this madness and other to be stopped.
If we think the UK is in trouble now with the rising crime from the Eastern Block, just wait until January 2014 when the EU force us to take the hinges off the doors of immigration and allow all to pass unchecked and unhindered.
