SCIENTISTS TOLD TO COVER UP GLOBAL WARMING REPORT – According to a leaked report scientist have been ordered by the United Nations to cover up the fact that the earth’s temperature has NOT risen significantly in the last 15 years as previously reported.
A study was initiated by the United Nations a few years ago to provide an authoritative insight on how much damage has been done to the planet by the burning of fossil fuels and effects of deforestation and whether such has indeed resulted in the earth’s temperature rising.
There doesn’t appear to be a day goes by without some study showing that our planet is in peril and yet these are often refuted or simply another study reveals other data to suggest that the initial study was either wrong or inconclusive.
The issue of climate change has the general public in a spin for we often feel mislead, misguided or plain lied to; so what is the truth?
The new report that has allegedly been leaked from the United Nations, details a comprehensive study by literally hundreds of the world’s top scientist. Within the document it reveals that governments from Belgium, Germany, Hungary and the United States have all raised deep concern over its content.
The report details that 1998 was the hottest year since records began but despite this peak in global temperatures no such phenomenon has yet to reoccur; something scientists are yet unable to explain.
However, the report which was an accumulation of 6 years of studies by the United Nation’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), does detailed a significant rise in world temperatures over the last 15 years; as previously suggested.
All United Nations members rely on the data provided by the IPCC in order to introduce measure to counteract global warming; indeed the British Governments ‘Green Policies’ are derived and implemented on by this very information.
The leaked report, obtained by the Associated Press, revealed a number of concerns by world leaders regarding the ‘lack’ of global warming.
Some governments, such as Germany, feel that such a study does not provide a true reflection on global warming and that for a study to be effective, in terms of real measurement, it needs to span several decades and indeed centuries in order to formulate a clear picture of our planets rise in temperature.
So why try to suppress the report? There are some governments that feel that such a report could make mankind complacent regarding global warming or even deny that mankind is having any type of detrimental effect on our planet.
There is proof that the earth’s temperature has been rising and a number of factors are attributable including, deforestation, the use of fossil fuels and the fact that the Sun continues to grow – albeit by a very small amount each year.
The United States has called upon scientists to explain the lack of global warming in their report and also provide an hypothesis as to the possibility that our oceans are absorbing global temperatures – this might be the cause of sea temperature rises that have been noted over the last 15 years.
In 2007 the scientific community was embroiled in the ‘Climategate’ scandal after reports and data were manipulated in order to make climate change look more serious, however a UN investigation into the scandal reveal that no wrongdoing occurred.
Once again the general public is left hanging and indecisive as to whether the earth is suffering from mankind’s use of our natural resources.
There can be no doubt that mankind’s influence on the planet has been detrimental and that it is in our best interests and our responsibility to ensure that we take measures to limited our impact on the earth.
