SOMALI PAEDOPHILE WE CANNOT IMPRISON BECAUSE OF HIS HUMAN RIGHTS – Once again liberal madness and Labour immigration policies have come back to haunt us as a Somali paedophile is let loose because imprisoning him would be against his human rights.
I have lost count how many articles I have written on the debacle of the Human Rights Act 1998 and the UK’s involvement in the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) and each time I have clearly pointed out the travesty of justice that these allow to occur each and every day in the UK.
I am not alone; Theresa May, the Home Secretary is currently embroiled with the Liberal and Labour Parties to scrap the Human Rights Act and relinquish membership in the ECHR; both of which would allow our Courts to imprison foreign criminals or better still send them back to where they came.
Mustafa Abdi, regardless of being a child rapist, has been given thousands of pounds of taxpayers’ money and allowed his liberty on the streets of the UK. For more than a decade, similar to Abu Qatada, the Government have been trying in vain to have this animal deported and yet despite already spending £600,000 in legal costs Mustafa Abdi remains a free man in the UK and living comfortably off the taxpayer.
Yesterday, after months of appeals, the Strasburg Court (ECHR) ordered the British Government to pay the child rapist thousands of more pounds in damages and legal costs due to the ECHR ruling that he was ‘wrongfully detained’ for two and a half years which was a breach of his right to liberty.
At the time of his detention the Government viewed Mustafa Abdi to be a high risk to children and the public and while under detention the Government has tried, and failed, to have him deported.
Theresa May has vowed that the Government will continue to seek his deportation however this is going to come at a high price to the taxpayer with the likelihood that the ECHR will not allow his deportation.
There is of course only one true option open to the British public and while we like to perceive that we are a democratic society I can assure you no such thing exists in the UK.
If we did have true democracy then the Government would within days provide a referendum on scraping the Human Rights Act 1998 and pulling out of the ECHR. Unfortunately the Liberal Democrats and the Labour party will not allow this – so much for democracy.
I firmly believe the reason that the Liberal Democrats and the Labour party refuses to pull out of the EU is due to the fact that once their incompetence has run its course in the UK they are assured of a nice cushy EU job with an over inflated salary and pulling out of the EU would scupper their future employment.
How bad is Mustafa? Well let’s take a look…
In 1998 he was convicted of rape and indecent assault with a child and imprisoned for 8 years. It was David Blunkett, in 2002, as acting Home Secretary, who first tried to have Mustafa deported but this and several after failed.
In 2006 Mustafa was given permission to apply for judicial review as the Government decided that he was better off behind bars rather than take the risk he would rape yet another child. Mustafa won the appeal but the Court of Appeal also decided that his incarceration was in fact legal as he refused to return home on his own accord.
Come 2007 Mustafa was arrested yet again after breaching his bail conditions of having to report his whereabouts to police.
Now nearly 8 years on the Strasburg Court has ruled that the Government breached a number of his human rights and therefore has ordered the Government to pay over £7,000 of taxpayers’ money in compensation.
Try as the Home Office might the writing is on the wall and clear for everyone to read… Scrap the Human Rights Act 1998, pull out of the ECHR and finally place British Justice back in the hands of British Courts.
