THATCHER HATER SHOWS TRUE FACE OF HYPOCRISY – The old adage, don’t do as I do, do as I tell you, has to be one of the most hypocritical things you could ever utter and yet that’s exactly what some of the Margaret Thatcher haters will preach all day long.
Take a good look at Romany Blythe – you are looking at one of the UK’s biggest hypocrites and she’s not alone. This is the woman who organised the ‘Death Parties’ to celebrate the death of Baroness Thatcher. She was one of those who admonished and vilified Margaret Thatcher and all she stood for and yet Romany Blythe like the rest of the low-life hypocrites the UK has to put up with was a major benefactor when Margaret Thatcher came to power.
One of the things Margaret Thatcher is was to give each and every citizen the opportunity to own our own homes. The idea was two-fold; firstly it would move us to take better care of the areas in which we live, in order to benefit from house price increases and make the areas a desirable place to live and secondly it gave us an investment opportunity.
How good was the idea? Take a look at Britain toady and see how many homeowners there are. Yes, the UK Housing Market is experiencing some tough times but this was mainly brought about by the greed of the banks and when the banking system collapsed so did borrowing which in turn stifled the housing market.
All in all the idea Margaret Thatcher had was a great one and although Romany Blythe was, so she claimed, against anything Margaret Thatcher stood for it didn’t stop the likes of Blythe and the other hypocrites from cashing in on this and other beneficial policies.
Under Margaret Thatcher’s ‘Right-to-Buy’ scheme Romany Blythe made £150,000 from the purchase of her council home after she sold it just four years later. Under the scheme she paid her local council just £75,000 for her Islington home; so in just four years she doubled her money.
The scheme took off in 1980 and there were thousands of families across the country living in council run housing – I was one of them. Under the scheme pretty much everyone in my family thought it was a great idea and we all benefited enormously from Margaret Thatcher’s policies. It also sent a clear message that Margaret Thatcher had a passion for help people to help themselves and it was little wonder she won 3 landslide victories at the voting poles – under Thatcher we never had it so good.
This self styled anti-Thatcherite communists is like most hypocrites in that they will openly berate and contest anything democratic in public and yet behind the scenes take full advantage of a democratic system – people like Romany Blythe simply spout hollow rhetoric with no conviction to their beliefs.
From the photograph below Blythe, a school teacher, it is clear that she feels the UK should be a communist state and yet like so many of her kind none of them give up what they have here and head out and live in what they presume is a collective utopia. I am sure that North Korea would welcome the likes of Romany Blythe with open arms but the truth is she, and her like, simply do not have the conviction to stand behind their words.
I am, and always will be, a champion of free speech and the right to freely express yourself. What Romany and others at the Margaret Thatcher Death Party did was within the ‘democratic’ rights, unfortunately they might have wanted to take the time out to consider that if the UK had been a communist state how free would she, and her comrades have been, to exercise such freedom.
