THINK YOU ARE A FREE THINKER? WELL LET’S FIND OUT – If you met Jacque Fresco (see Wikipedia for more on Jacque Fresco) and declared to him that you are a free thinker he would probably look you in the eye and say, “You’re delusional.”
Now you might be thinking that Jacque Fresco is a rather unpleasant guy and rude at that but for Jacque Fresco he really doesn’t, in his own words, have the time or the inclination to suffer the foolishness of the indoctrinated – however he is willing to educate people into thinking in a different way.
Whatever you do, if you ever meet Jacque Fresco, don’t declare you are an educated person for that’s something else he’ll likely give you a dressing down over. You see Jacque Fresco is, unequivocally, one of the foremost ‘free-thinkers’ of our time – we consider thinking ‘outside the box’ but for Jacque Fresco there isn’t a box and there never was; our possibilities are infinite.
I’ll be honest, up until yesterday I’d never heard of Jacque Fresco. However I was doing a little research on an article I wanted to write about politics and attempt to explain to people why I no longer cast a vote during any electoral campaign.
Now I’m British and we have a number of political parties in the UK to choose from. During my early development I was brought up in a Conservative family and therefore I became a supporter of the Conservative party.
Up until 10 years ago I refused to believe in another way, but then someone told me that the only reason I voted Conservative was purely down to educational indoctrination – that is I was brainwashed into accepting certain ideologies.
Today is a different matter, I’ve opened my mind and come to the stark reality that Government, of any persuasion, simply doesn’t work.
Take a moment to examine your own political beliefs. Now stop and ask yourself if you truly believe in the people and the party they represent. If you are anywhere near a free thinker then you would have quickly realized that most of them are incompetent, liars and indeed highly corrupt.
Think about it for a moment longer and you will come to the conclusion that the only thing any politicians care about, regardless of political affiliation, are themselves.
In fact it is most unlikely that given careful consideration, any Government would be able to claim an achievement for the betterment of mankind.
Well let’s examine a few areas:
Public Community Harmony
No matter where you live it’s likely you will find your community to be segregated. The divide is not restricted to the simplistic issues of race and culture but also that of education, religion and wealth.
Governments have for years been trying to create the utopia of a multicultural society and yet despite forced integration it has never worked – the divide of religion, culture and wealth is simply too vast and therefore leaves people in a continuous suspicious state of consciousness of one another.
I think it is therefore safe to say that we have an awful long way to go before we do have a harmonized society.
How well have Governments managed to curb crime? You can look back at reams of statistics and all will denote that crime rises and falls; look carefully enough and most of the rises are attributed to times of economic difficulty.
Of course you do have to consider that crime, over a long period of time and without tackling the core issues effectively, will rise in proportion of population levels – that is as the population grows so does the crime; well at least in many deprived areas.
Governments are fully aware of the issues and in fact what causes the majority of crime but they are averse to making critical changes – in other words they refuse to consider another way.
Educating the Masses
How effective is education? The free thinker goes beyond asking if education is effective. What the free thinker wants to know is whether or not education as we know it is merely a way to indoctrinate us to specific ideologies and in turn control our daily lives.
As Jacque Fresco will point out no child is born with the ability to speak a particular language, it is indoctrinated and as that child grows it will also take on the indoctrination by the state in order to become patriotic and a good taxpaying citizen – hopefully one that obeys the laws.
Look carefully at the state of the college system in the U.S. The population has become so indoctrinated into the ideology that they must get a good education in order to secure a job that provides financial security they will actually place themselves into severe financial debt that could take them the rest of their lives to repay – they simply become slaves to the system with no possibility to step out and realise their full potential.
The issue with education is that we feel that we must have it in order to progress, generate wealth and therefore have the ability to climb the social ladder.
Your Government will continue to indoctrinate you into the belief that war is both noble and moral. Encapsulated in this belief they will then throw in a goodly amount of fear. Look back to the lead up to the Iraqi War.
George W. Bush basically knew only four words and he used them to great effect; yes Weapons of Mass Destruction – it was the whole premise for the war and it made people extremely fearful.
In order to back up the moral and noble elements he referred to ‘freedom’ that is freeing the Iraqi people from Saddam Hussein’s oppressive regime.
The truth is that the Iraqi War had absolutely nothing to do with Weapons of Mass Destruction, morality or what was noble but rather it was about the control of oil and with the dollar tied directly to oil (petro-dollar) it was essential that the U.S got its hands on it.
Governments often talk about peace but that’s pure fantasy. Mankind will continue to war with one another and each war will be driven by money and religion.
There is nothing more profitable than war – well at least for the arms manufacturers for these will see vast sums of money flowing from the public treasury right into their pockets. Yes, war is another way to make a few people rich whilst millions die of starvation.
Of all the things mankind has ever devised the ideology of a higher power, God if you like, is not only the most farcical it is also the most destructive.
We often think that the Islamic Muslim fundamentalists are pure evil and yet the Catholic Church is responsible for far more of the world’s atrocities and this continues today.
The Catholic Church was single handedly responsible for murdering millions of Muslims during the Crusades and burnt millions of women at the stake in order to keep women under control.
When you examine religion, regardless of its flavor, it all has oppressive overtones that are designed to make you conform to whatever ideology the leaders are selling.
The Holy Bible is beyond a joke and in this day and age it is simply astounding how anyone could fall for what is nothing more than pure fantasy.
Look carefully at any holy book and you will find that nothing is factual, nothing makes sense and above all, it will continuously contradict itself.
An example is an Eye for an Eye – yes if you kill my son I should be allowed to kill yours. In another passage it talks of peace, forgiveness and turning the other cheek. That is only one of the hundreds of contradictions you will find. The rest of course is nothing more than a fairy tale devised by man in order to indoctrinate and control.
From the moment we are able to grasp the concept of money we are indoctrinated to the value of an item and that value is often determined by another ideological concept – material worth.
Think BMW and Ford – what’s the difference. They both have an engine, they both use fuel and they both get you from A to B; so why the vast difference in price?
It comes down to perceptions of wealth and therefore people make things other people cannot afford – for some strange reason this is supposed to give us a sense of worth and even achievement goals.
Money is the reason we have wars. Money is the reason we have religion. Money is the reason we are indoctrinated by other people’s ideologies – that’s education.
Money controls everything; but what would our world be like without money? The truth is there would be no more wars because there would be no point in manufacturing arms that don’t make money.
Crime would also fall dramatically as a large percentage of crime involves money.
The question is: Could mankind become a sufficient free thinking force in order to acknowledge that we don’t actually need money and in fact the Earth resources are abundant enough in order to support mankind – even at the rate of growth?
I honestly believe that 95% or more of the people reading this will agree to some of the content in principle but when it comes to money they will simply shut down their brains – such is the indoctrination they have received concerning money.
I would even venture to say that many people would be fearful to consider a world without money and in the process mankind becoming a collective community where no borders exist and where everything is produced free of charge to satisfy everyone’s needs – not just in a materialistic sense but also that of food and water.
As I pointed out earlier this article was the culmination of examining why I haven’t voted in the last two General Elections and why I won’t vote in the next. I fail to see the point in voting in another set of incompetent liars whose egos simply feel the need to rule and in the meantime profit from the misery of those.
I often wonder what would happen if the population of Britain simply decided to abstain from voting until a person or a group of people could be found that would put aside their own personal goals and work for the greater good.
Call it a naïve idea but it is only such because you refuse to open your mind and consider that there might be another way – a way that could in fact free you from the indoctrination and allow you to develop and enrich your life in a completely different way.
It’s time now for you to watch the video above. Free your mind. This has nothing to do with anyone trying to indoctrinate you but rather attempting to free your mind to possibilities beyond what is little more than a few controlling the masses.
The video is called the Venus Project and explores the true potential of mankind; it is the brainchild of Jacque Fresco and if you are a free thinker you will find the concept immensely rewarding.
