US SPYING ON ITS EUROPEAN ALLIES: REALLY? – What can you say about the international political web that our politicians have spun? It’s a puzzle, wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma.
The truth is that none of the world’s leader really knows what the truth is let alone has the moral fortitude to reveal it.
So here we have President Obama being challenged, again, about spying on its allies; this time being accused of spying on the German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
Angela Merkel told reporters that the allegations had shattered trust in Mr. Obama’s administration and even undermined the crucial trans-Atlantic relationship.
What a load of twaddle; this so-called relationship, or what the British like to call a ‘special relationship’ extends only as far as what is good for America and therefore the real friendship, that bond of trust is paper thin at best or probably doesn’t even exist.
Of course we could step back in time and note the glorious days of Bush and Blair; now there was a special relationship and one that deceived the public on both sides of the Atlantic to such an extent that murder all of a sudden became legal and morally justified.
Yes it appeared perfectly acceptable, through the use of lies and propaganda, to murder innocent men, women and child and the bloodshed even continues today despite what we now know about the illegal war in Iraq.
Is Mrs. Merkel suggesting that tapping of her phone carries far graver consequences to humanity than openly murdering hundreds of thousands of people – where’s the perspective of reality?
Yes even today our Government’s do not have the moral fortitude to reveal the truth and put Bush and Blair on trail – yes those ‘National Security’ bills and acts sure do come in handy in preventing the truth from coming out and allows almost any politician or world leader to get away with murder – pass go, collect all the oil and do not go to jail.
Apparently the European leaders are united in their outrage that the U.S Government ‘might’ have been spying on them; even to the point of tapping into their personal mobile phones.
It really is a travesty of justice – hang the lot of them I say… or should we really take a step back and ask… ‘What’s the big deal?’
After all its most likely, if anyone dug deep enough, that each nation is spying on the other – I would say it’s pretty safe to say that there’s not a single world leader today that has an ounce of integrity; they’ve all been caught lying from time to time and when they are caught they often hang someone else out to dry.
Politics is a cut-throat business and frankly those in power are not better than pirates – they simply plunder and pillaged for the own personal gain and all the while take a step closer to sinking their economics through increased national debt.
Of course the U.S, UK and most of Europe was beside itself with rage when Edward Snowden lifted the lid on the sordid practices of ‘intelligence’ gathering; but that was to be expected for whilst they will continue to bleat on about the damage to national security this is just subterfuge to avert our attention away to the bigger picture – their illegal activities which should have landed the lot of them in jail and seen Mr. Obama impeached.
Edward Snowden is labeled a traitor – yes I’m afraid that telling or revealing the truth is not what our politicians want. Of course nobody will say that the real traitors are those who spy on their citizens in order to control them.
We continue to get fed with lies and in the fold we are made fearful; fearful to a point whereby we will believe almost anything Government feeds to us.
The real atrocity and treason here is how our Government’s have colluded in order to bring the world on the brink of bankruptcy and keep us in constant fear from the onslaught of terrorism.
As the famous XFiles series used to say, ‘The Truth is out there’ but again the truth is a puzzle, wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma.
