US TEENAGE BIBLE BASHING EXORCISTS HIT BRITAIN – This latest tit-bit of news just came across my desk which compelled me to read the background information.
If you have ever thought you’d seen and heard it all then this news story will only cement your belief that just when you thought you couldn’t be surprised up pops the weasel with something new.
Well let’s have at it… We have three US teenage girls who have arrived in the fair capital of London, England with the sole intent of ridding our teens of their demons.
That’s right the trio, which have nothing to do with Buffy the Vampire Slayer, are exorcists and believe that England is plagued by demons due to thousands of years of Paganism and Harry Potter.
No that’s not a typing error I said Harry Potter. According to Brynne Larson, 18, and sisters Tess and Savannah Scherkenback, aged 18 and 21 the spells in J.K Rowling’s Harry Potter books are real spells that can summon demons and possess those citing such spells.
And they wonder why I need a stiff scotch at the end of the day… ok let’s get on with it.
Apparently the lovely trio have come fully armed with a suitcase full of Bibles and Holy Water; I’m guessing they don’t trust the Holy Water in our Churches but if the infestation of demons is as bad as they suspect they are going to need to resupply somewhere – I suspect they could even run out Holy Water in the House of Commons alone.
According to the Bible bashers, all from Arizona, Britain is a hotbed of demonic activity and occult worshiping – yeah they really should take a look at Parliament.
The girls feel that most young women lose all moral integrity and become promiscuous due primarily to demonic possession – I’m guessing right about now that the guys are just horny devils… no stop it, this is supposed to be serious.
Despite some criticism the girls are convinced London is full of demons possessing the young and that Harry Potter spells are not made up but do in fact come from witchcraft books.
The girls also believe that the spread of demons is through promiscuity; that is demons are passed from person to person in the same way as sexually transmitted diseases – basically STD’s, or as they refer to them, STDD’s – Sexually Transmitted Demon Disease.
You might find this all a little hard to swallow but BBC 3 decided to capture their adventures on film and produce the documentary ‘Teen Exorcists’.
The documentary does have a serious side in that it shows the teenagers banishing demons from people; including one from a former Anglican Chaplin, Beth Wragg, in the East End of London.
We’ll there you have it, Teen Exorcists in London from American. I wonder what they’ll come up with next.
