US THREATENS TO PULL TRADE INVESTMENT IF BRITAIN PULLS OUT OF THE EU – The U.S has warned Britain that if it pulls out of the EU it could miss out on up to $10 billion in investment trade annually from the U.S.

Is it worth staying in the EU just for the possible trade deals with the U.S? Have your say… leave your comments below.
Our so-called allies and friends across the pond have told David Cameron that if a referendum on the EU is given and if the public calls for opting out of the EU then it will effect up to $10 billion a year in trade deals; as such a move would exclude the UK from any transatlantic free trade deals that are currently being proposed.
This development raises a few issues for the public to consider including:
1. Would these ‘trade deals’ offset the increasing costs Britain’s taxpayers’ are subjected to in order to provide funding to run the EU?
2. What price will the British public put on our national identity as the EU increasingly strips away our rights and laws in favour of their own?
$10 billion is peanuts and exactly how much of this will Britain get? This amount, proposed by the U.S authorities, is in fact not yet even approved by the U.S Senate, and will no doubt be split up among all the other EU member states thereby diluting the trade benefits.
Considering the British Taxpayer’s bill for the EU is about to rise by a further £770 million; despite Cameron assuring us that he was working to reduce our payments, this threat from the U.S can, and should, be answered in only one way… shove it where the sun doesn’t shine.
Our sovereignty and our national identity is at real risk of being swallowed up by the EU and Britain is set to become the dumping ground for all Eastern bloc Europeans – all thanks to EU laws. Frankly we should never be allowed to sell out our country to the EU; regardless of what the U.S Government may think or want.
Cameron needs to stand firm and keep to his word in trying to renegotiate a better deal and then hold a referendum to see if the public are prepared to accept the deal or pull out of Europe.
I haven’t, as yet, noted any response from UKIP but I have contacted their press department for a statement – I’ll add it if they respond to my request.
Once again the U.S is trying to manipulate the UK for its own gains and the offer of trade deals is little more than a bride and the threat of withdrawing any such deals tantamount to blackmail.
This and the previous Government has already sold Britain down the river but it’s certainly not too late for the British to demand a removal from the EU and the sooner we do the better off we will be.
