WATCH A COMMERCIAL AIRLINER BEING PUT TOGETHER IN 2 MINUTES 30 SECONDS – Most of us are fairly familiar with assembly lines or rather the concept that parts go in one end and a finish product emerges at the other end.
We’ve seen it with cars and in planes but in this video we’re treated to the entire journey of the construction of a commercial airliner in just 2 minutes 30 seconds.
The planes body starts of on the back of a freight train to the hanger whereby a vast number of mechanics, engineers and technicians then go through the process of putting the entire aircraft together, including all the electronics, wings and furnishing before attaching the engines and finally undergoing a number of operational tests.
Out of one hanger and into another and within a flash, we get to see the entire aircraft being painted in its livery colours and finally we get to see it take to the skies.
If you’re anything like me, you’ll love the video for I’m a real fan of aircraft and the way in which they are constructed. Enjoy.
