Welfare: Dependent Upon the State from the Cradle to the Grave

WELFARE: DEPENDENT UPON THE STATE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE – According the Bill Whittle at Encounter Books, the United States, in 2012, spent on average $65,000 per poor family in order to combat poverty.

If such figures are indeed accurate and considering that the average family earned $50,000 in 2012 then the question of whether welfare helps the poor to drag themselves out of poverty is no longer an issue… it doesn’t, it can’t and it never will.

The very idea that welfare helps the poor has been proven and well documented to be a false ideology for the evidence suggests that welfare only makes people more dependent and despondent.

Considering what we know of welfare isn’t it about time we questioned the governments motive and asked if in fact welfare isn’t merely an agenda to ensure that people are dependent and therefore easily controlled by government?
