WHITNEY HOUSTON: A TRIBUTE TO AN INCREDIBLE VOICE – At the young age of just 48, Whitney Houston, on February 11th 2012, was found dead in a hotel room at The Beverly Hilton, in Beverly Hills, California.
For millions of fans the realization that she had accidentally drowned in the bathtub, with a coroner’s report soon after stating that Whitney had died as a result of heart disease and narcotics abuse was difficult to bear.
Born Whitney Elizabeth Houston on the 9th August 1963 Whitney rose to fame as one of the greatest female recording artist of all times. As her career developed she enter into acting; staring alongside Kevin Costner in the movie The Bodyguard. Whitney was also an accomplished producer and model.
Whilst Whitney Houston is no longer with us she leaves behind a legacy of music that the world continues to enjoy today and in this tribute I list some of my most favourite songs as a tribute to someone who certainly gave me so much joy through her music.
